Within a 12-mile radius of Putney, artists and artisans are putting out the welcome mat and inviting visitors into their studios and offering demonstrations of how their works are created. The perfect antidote to frenzied holiday shopping, back-roads touring, among the scenic meadows, woods and hills, searching for exceptional one-of-a-kind items from the 27 artisans on the tour, couldnt be more fun, adventurous and inspiring.
For Putney Craft Tour visitors, Hickory Ridge is offering a 20% discount off their regular room rates for a two-night package, all rates are based on double occupancy, Vermont State tax of 9% is additional (the package rates, subject to availability, are also offered on Thursday and/or Sunday, as well). The package includes Vermont maple syrup from Hidden Springs Maple to take home, maps for the Putney Craft Tour and a full breakfast, prepared in the Inns kitchen from the freshest local ingredients. A typical breakfast includes home baked muffins, scones or biscuits; fresh fruit, local maple cured bacon or homemade chicken sausage; free-range eggs from down the road and the Inns own blend of Mocha Joes coffee.
