From Friday November 25 through Saturday, November 26 the “Shop, Stay and Shunpiking” package is designed to make your Thanksgiving weekend a delightful and creative getaway in the heart of Putney, Vermont’s artistic community.

Within a 12-mile radius of Putney, artists and artisans are putting out the welcome mat and inviting visitors into their studios and offering demonstrations of how their works are created. The perfect antidote to frenzied holiday shopping, shunpiking or backroads touring, among the scenic meadows, woods and hills, searching for exceptional one-of-a-kind items from the 27 artisans on the tour, couldn’t be more fun, adventurous and inspiring.

Price for the two--night package, based on double occupancy and inclusive of all taxes and gratuities is $120 per night. The price includes a pint of Vermont maple syrup from Hidden Springs Maple to take home, along with a hearty Vermont Farmers breakfast with the choice of The Putney Inn's own breads, local eggs and dairy, maple cured meats, griddle cakes with Vermont maple syrup, and more.
