Fruit, vegetables and flowers have eternally inspired artists. I too am drawn to their intricacies, grace and beauty. I have rendered this subject matter in two different portfolios. The first portfolio I call Botanicals. These images are taken with a large format camera on Polaroid film. They are printed and tone on silver gelatin paper. These photographs are available in two different sized editions. 16”x 20” prints are in editions of 15, 4”x 5” images are in editions of 30. Nature’s Bounty is the second portfolio presented. It combines children with nature. Antique photographic processes inspire my technique for this portfolio. I print the photographs on watercolor paper hand coated with silver emulsion and then selectively toned.
